I pulled the Banshee stuff because it wasn't working correctly.. I'll put them back up soon
as I can get them fixed.

Is there is post installation procedure that I should be doing for bluetooth? After I install the packages, my bluetooth is still not functioning, neither my phone nor my laptop able to see each other.

Have you turned on bluetooth services in /etc/rc.d?

If this helps, in rc.bluetooth.conf I have

HCID_ENABLE=true
SDPD_ENABLE=true
RFCOMM_ENABLE=true

and in /etc/bluetooth/hcid.conf I have:

# Inquiry and Page scan
iscan enable;
pscan enable;
discovto 0;

I added the line discovto 0; which keeps it in discovery mode constantly.
Probably not a good thing but I really don't care on my machine.. you can set it
to something like 5 which would make it stop discovery mode in 5 min I believe.
I'd have to look it up to find out what the exact time increments are.

How can i bluetooth a whole folder from computer to phone? I want to bluetooth a whole folder of songs from my laptop to my phone. However, it seems to only let me bluetooth one FILE at a time. How can i bluetooth a whole FOLDER? Thanks.
